This policy explains how Fleishig Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as Fleishig, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use fleishiglondon.com or order from us. We are the “data controller” responsible for your personal data.
Who we are
Fleishig Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16818857, trading as Fleishig. If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, contact us at sales@fleishigmeats.co.uk.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you place an order or enquiry.
- Order details, including items, delivery date and area, and any gift note you add.
- Your email address if you sign up to our newsletter.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card details directly.
- Basic technical and usage data (e.g. anonymous analytics) collected via our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To fulfil your order or enquiry (process payment, prepare and deliver your order, contact you about it) — on the basis of performing our contract with you.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer service — on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the business and helping customers.
- To send you marketing emails (only if you have opted in) — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (e.g. keeping records of transactions) — on the basis of our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with parties that help us run the business, and only as far as needed:
- Stripe — to process card payments securely.
- Our email and delivery providers — to send confirmations and deliver your order.
- Our hosting and analytics providers — to run and maintain the website.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep it
We keep your order and contact data for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 6 years for transaction records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
